No matter what age, we have the program to get your kids, and yes, even teens to fall in love with reading.

Toddler Time

Ages 10 months-2 years

Toddler Time programs provide activities that promote play, socialization, and early literacy skills.

Story Time

Ages 3-5 years

Story Time programs provide activities that promote pre-reading skills, imaginative play, socialization, as well as fine and gross motor skills.

Tuesdays at 10:30

Head Start Story Time

A special story time presented in cooperation with our local Head Start program.

Sensory Storytime

Sensory Storytime is a fun, interactive, educational storytime designed for children with autism or sensory processing issues. Stories and activities will engage the senses through books, music and movement. Caregivers required.

Novel Ninjas programs are after school programs that offer fun activities that promote literacy, science, art, technology, critical thinking, and teamwork.

S.T.E.A.M.

Grades 4th-6th

S.T.E.A.M. programs are after school programs that offer more advanced activities that promote science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics, critical thinking, and teamwork in a fun and creative way.

Anime/Manga Club

Grades 6th-12th

If you love anime (Japanese animation) or manga (Japanese comics) this is the place for you! Meet to watch videos, discuss books, share stories, and just hang out.

Third Tuesday of the Month at 4:00

Middle School Book Club

Grades 6th-8th

The Middle School Book Club is held in partnership with Owensville Community School and is held at the school. The book club is student driven and offers middle school students the opportunity to read, discuss books and participate in literary themed activities.

Teen Time

Grades 7th-12th

Teen Time programs are teen-led after school programs that focus on creativity, innovation, communication, and collaboration skills in a fun and engaging way in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Dungeons & Dragons

Grades 7th-12th

Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) is a tabletop role-playing game where players create their own characters and go on adventures. Players communicate and work together to overcome obstacles and advance further in the game, making new friends along the way. Beginner and experienced plays alike are welcome.

Home School Happenings

Homeschool Happenings programs offer homeschool families a chance to come together and enjoy activities that promote science, technology, art, mathematics, critical thinking, and teamwork in a fun and engaging way.

Second Thursday of the month at 1:30

Cooking Club

Grades 5th-8th

Cooking Club is a culinary program where kids will learn to cook and bake as well as learn various culinary skills.

S.T.E.A.M. Summer Camp

Grades 4th – 6th
The S.T.E.A.M. Summer Camp program is a week-long camp for those kids that participated in the S.T.E.A.M. programs the previous year. They offer more advanced and in depth projects that promote science, technology, art, mathematics, critical thinking, and teamwork.

Summer Reading

The Summer Reading program provides children, teens, and families an exciting way to spend the summer and prevent the ”summer slide” in learning and encourage a lifelong love of reading and the library by offering fun activities, special programs and performances, and reading contests with prizes.
